Here Faye and I are sporting the latest fall fashions. πŸ™‚ This is the way the ladies from PNG dress. A “meri blouse”, which is the name for this kind of long top, and a long skirt. Sometimes we try to fit in and wear the same type of clothes, especially when we go to church or a funeral or something. There is a lady who lives near us who sews these for us when we bring her material. Unfortunately the selection of material in town leaves much to be desired in my opinion! However, if you are into loud floral prints then you can most assuredly find something you like!

Mary Beth, I think this is the mumu post you were looking for before!

  1. Michelle

Very trendy! πŸ˜‰ At least everyone looks good in them, could be worse!

  2. Ashley Gaymon

Ha, ha!! How much fabric does it take to make a meri blouse?!

  3. Lindsey New

How is it that the fabric is so terrible yet you still manage to look cute?!

  4. We don’t know what your problem is. Hannah is a huge fan of loud floral prints.

  5. Yes!!! Love it. Now for another mumu feast wearing this get-up.
I agree with Lindsey – cute as always!

  6. Matt New

For real, I don’t know if your travels have taken you to exotic locals like Florence or Myrtle Beach but I’d say these are highly tasteful in comparison to what their natives wear.

  7. Ashley

You are beautiful! Those have to be super comfortable…I need one for my 4th trimester πŸ™‚

  8. Jennifer Daniels

U both you beautiful in it..

  9. Melinda Lem

You twos look pretty. It is definitely the most comfortable clothing any women or girl could wear. Very proud of being a Papua New Guinean. The pink meri blouse even matches your pink hairband :).

What do you think?
