Here is more video of Menya from the air. At one minute, you see our airstrip, then a clump of government housing and offices, then the high school that boards students from far and wide. At 1:45 you pass over our houses–including the one we are living in right now, but not the one we have yet to build.

    Wow. How beautiful. Their are more pine trees than I was picturing…I guess the elevation of Menya is fairly high up? Cort liked the mountains with the clouds covering the tops. Thanks for sharing.

      About 3700 feet where we live. The mountain tops are much higher. I don’t think the pine trees are native–they were probably brought in and planted by the Australians since the 1950s.
