All three of our potential belt sources came through…on the same day. Now we have a variety to choose from and plenty. We have belts from Australia, from Lae and from Wewak (two cities in PNG.)

The belts from Lae were supposed to be here Saturday. That’s what the Menyan guy who had driven to Lae told me on the phone, twice. But having visited his house twice on Saturday, twice Sunday and once Monday, I know they were not here. He delivered them Monday after we were running the saw with belts that had been flown in. So now I am in PNG-Relationship debt to that guy and didn’t even get any benefit.

At least we are cutting wood again.

What do you think?
