I had a great conversation about the gospel with Terry and some of his family today. From this group, only Terry attended our lessons back in the spring. It’s exciting to see new believers like Terry wanting others to hear the truth they are believing.
Our big river has lots of tributaries. Yesterday the kids got explore one they’ve never seen before.
There’s not much happening in Menya so a “court” about who is responsible for the sorcery that killed an elderly man draws a crowd.
Yesterday I took a stroll down to where one of our local religious groups was gathering. This particular group has, thus far, rejected what we have been teaching. I’ve been eagerly looking for an opportunity to talk with this group…

We are really thankful that we got to spend today on this tiny island with our friends.
We got to spend a day with our friends, the Bulters, who work in a tribe on an island. They have a boat instead of a 4-wheeler for transporting bodies and supplies. The boat can also be used for fun.
