After 7.5 months in Menya, I was ready for a change of pace. This is just the right pace.
That’s the ocean coast down there.
We are headed out to an Island for a week. Our first time flying in the Kodiak over the ocean which means we get to wear life jackets under our seatbelts.
We’ve been living without internet (or with just enough for an email/hour) over the last two months or so. Now that we are out in “town” we’ve got a lot to share. Here are some pics.
While the Chappells were down in Australia for a month, we had lots of fun with our local friends. (And we are very thankful for them!)
Happy 4th! We flew out of Menya today and ate by the pool at a local hotel. Hamburgers a la modé (with a fried egg).

Today my presence was requested in order that I might bear witness to the proper execution of a pig castration. It being my first such procedure, I doubt my testimony will be admissible in any future proceedings. Nonetheless, I attended.
