Elizabeth’s literacy class is still going strong. They meet outside on nice days (and the other days too.)
This is Delma, Rita’s girl. She scrambles for mom every time I approach and cries when she thinks she won’t be able to get to safety in time. I guess that’s what happens after years of mom saying “if you disobey, the white man’s gonna git ya”
This morning in our Bible study, we were working through Colossians 1:15-20. As we were talking about Christ’s supremacy, particularly His authority over spiritual forces which once dominated our friends’ thinking, there were many joyful expressions.

Teaching at Terry’s house, I was unable to hold everyone’s attention.
I gave Mepson a new nickname: “wansok” (one sock)
This girl lives a little far from us and isn’t used to seeing me around her house. She kept peeking at me from the safety of her big sister’s arms.
This is Terry’s wife. She’s hearing the story of the Bible as we work through it on Tuesdays at their house. Pray that she will understand and believe!
