On Monday we hosted a meeting for some of our village leaders to discuss plans for our literacy program.

We’ve had rain 4 days in a row. Maybe the drought is over. If it keeps up for 3-4 more months, our village will be growing food again.
Right now there is very little water flowing down from the rain forrest on the mountain. Many folks have given up trying to grow food in their normal gardens, but some have resorted to creative irrigation techniques.
