We flew out of Menya Monday for our annual conference. But on the way we had a couple of days of rest and relaxation at a “resort”–missionary style. (A place with a pint-sized pool.)
This morning in our Bible study, we were working through Colossians 1:15-20. As we were talking about Christ’s supremacy, particularly His authority over spiritual forces which once dominated our friends’ thinking, there were many joyful expressions.
We are actually starting our third week of school here in Menya, but we just got our good internet back after three months so here are some two-week old pics.
We got to spend a day with our friends, the Bulters, who work in a tribe on an island. They have a boat instead of a 4-wheeler for transporting bodies and supplies. The boat can also be used for fun.
We’ve been living without internet (or with just enough for an email/hour) over the last two months or so. Now that we are out in “town” we’ve got a lot to share. Here are some pics.
